Where were we? Probably in a somewhat suspended time, almost indefinite and clouded by so much uncertainty.
The good news is that it’s finally starting again with trade shows in attendance. These days, the usual Milano Unica event dedicated to fashion professionals took place.
If you are already wondering what the Color Trends will be for Fall / Winter 2022-23, I can tell you that they will be of many and varied shades, from the softest and most refined shades to the most intense and brilliant ones. After all, as I say more and more often, we need to surround ourselves with color and we are immediately satisfied.
The colors of Milano Unica Fall/ Winter 2022-2023
The chromatic range proposed for Fall/Winter 2022-2023 ranges from the most neutral tones to the brightest colors, passing from soft shades to fluorescent ones, with some more acid notes. Classic tones are not lacking, from the coolest to the warmest. Lots of shades of green and beige-brown. Gold, on the other hand, is confirmed as a color that gives warmth, embellishing fabrics.
The presence of various textile prototypes suggests daring to experiment with materials and colors. A mix and match that somehow recalls the world of nature.
The Innovation Area, with the presence of some new fabrics deriving from natural fibers, biobased synthetic and biodegradable fibers, perhaps deserved a different visibility, I hope it can expand in the future. Personally I found it very interesting.

The colors of seduction, such as black, red and gold, mix with pure white and the smoky grays of cold winter nights. Then there are the warm and dusty shades of beiges together with desaturated and muted greens, while the browns are warmed by rust and the vitaminic tones of orange and yellow.

In this area we find the colors of the skin, from pale pink to blush, beige and brown, mixed with peach pink, gold, cream and bronze. There is no lack of hints of mint green and leaf green.
