COLOR TREND…and then? Spring-Summer 2018

About a year has passed since the presentation of colors trend for Spring/Summer 2018, so it’s time to ask:

What colors will we find in stores? Which colors have been the most successful among creative people and designers?

From an analysis of the trends, presented a year ago and the colors subsequently used for the creation of the collections of clothes and accessories, emerge some shades that converge in the same direction.

Waiting to enjoy the pleasant climate of the Spring you can browse through the real shop windows and virtual ones on the web.

We will be tempted by the purchase of clothes, accessories, objects with nuances …

of PINK LAVENDER?

or of ARCTIC BLUE?

or even an ORANGE RED?

The choice of a color should be contextualized, so beyond the seasonal trend we will evaluate the most appropriate colors to our somatic features (colors yes, colors no), to the occasion of use, the need to purchase the moment and how much we will have been influenced by the various (social) media.

Another factor not to be overlooked is the influence that color has: usually we will not choose a single shade, unless you decide for a monochromatic outfit. The colors influence each other, so choosing a single shade without considering the chromatic interactions with the other elements that we approach, could lead us to unexpected and sometimes unwanted results.

… almost never (that is, without particular precautions) we can see a single color, isolated and not in relation with other colors. The colors appear in a continuous flow, constantly in relationship with neighbors that vary and in variable conditions.
